At Edge Optics, being part of the Northern Colorado community means more than providing comprehensive eye care and stylish eyewear. It also means showing up for organizations that are making a real difference in people’s lives. This year, we were honored to be involved with the annual gala hosted by Homeward Alliance: an incredible evening dedicated to supporting individuals and families experiencing homelessness in our community.
From meaningful conversations to inspiring stories and generous community support, the event was a reminder of what can happen when local organizations and businesses come together with a shared purpose.
What Is Homeward Alliance?
Homeward Alliance is a Northern Colorado nonprofit organization focused on helping individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Through a collaborative approach, Homeward Alliance connects people with essential services including housing support, healthcare resources, employment assistance, case management, and basic necessities.
Their work is rooted in dignity, compassion, and creating long-term solutions for those facing housing instability. By bringing multiple community organizations together under one network, Homeward Alliance helps make critical services more accessible to those who need them most.
The impact they make throughout Northern Colorado is truly remarkable, and we are grateful for the opportunity to support their mission.
About the Homeward Alliance Gala
The Homeward Alliance Gala is an annual event that brings together community leaders, local businesses, supporters, and advocates for an evening centered around awareness, fundraising, and connection. The gala serves as both a celebration of the organization’s impact and an opportunity to raise support for the important work still ahead.
This year’s event was filled with inspiring stories, community generosity, and a shared commitment to helping our neighbors thrive. It was incredible to see so many people and organizations united around the mission of supporting vulnerable members of our community.
At Edge Optics, we believe healthcare and community care go hand in hand, which made participating in this event especially meaningful for our team.
Edge Optics’ Contribution to Homeward Alliance
One of the ways Edge Optics has proudly supported Homeward Alliance is through the donation of over 550 pairs of glasses to individuals in need throughout the community.
Access to vision care and eyewear can have a profound impact on someone’s daily life from improving safety and confidence to helping with employment opportunities, education, and overall quality of life. Unfortunately, many people facing housing insecurity do not have easy access to eye care or prescription eyewear.
By donating glasses and supporting organizations like Homeward Alliance, we hope to help remove one small barrier and provide resources that can make a meaningful difference.
As a locally owned practice, giving back to the communities we serve is deeply important to us. We are proud to support organizations that are creating lasting positive change throughout Northern Colorado.
