At Edge Optics, we’ve always believed that confidence starts with how you see, and how you feel. As we continue expanding the ways we support our patients’ overall wellness and self-confidence, we’re excited to welcome Ashley Hunter to our team as our aesthetician.

Ashley brings a unique blend of advanced clinical training, holistic skin philosophy, and genuine compassion to every client she works with. Her approach fits seamlessly with our mission of offering personalized, high-quality care in a welcoming, community-focused environment.

A Personal Journey That Sparked a Professional Calling

Ashley’s passion for skincare didn’t start in a classroom. Like many people, she struggled with acne and scarring throughout her teenage years and into her twenties. Those challenges led her to learn everything she could about skin health, treatments, and long-term skin preservation.

After gaining knowledge from experienced aestheticians and seeing firsthand how advanced treatments could restore both skin and confidence, Ashley decided to pursue aesthetics professionally in 2021. Since then, she has dedicated her career to helping others achieve the same sense of renewal and confidence she once sought herself.

Bridging Holistic Skincare and Medical Aesthetics

One of the things that makes Ashley’s approach so distinctive is her belief that true skin health lies at the intersection of holistic care and medical-grade treatments. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, she works closely with each client to develop treatment plans tailored to their skin type, goals, and lifestyle.

Ashley is trained in oncology-safe skincare and holds certifications as a Certified Laser Operator (CLO) and Certified Intraoral Specialist, allowing her to safely and effectively perform advanced treatments that require specialized knowledge and care.

Her goal is simple: to help clients choose the right treatments, not just the most popular ones, so they can achieve lasting, high quality results.

She is also trained in intraoral buccal massage, an advanced facial technique performed both inside and outside the mouth to help release deep facial tension, improve circulation, and support facial contouring. This technique is especially beneficial for clients experiencing jaw tightness, facial tension, or TMJ discomfort.
